Check out the following link to a gallery of images from my recent trip to Tuscon, Arizona. I was flown down there to photograph a wedding and had some time after to spend with family and explore. I hope you enjoy this unique collection of photographs from the desert Southwest.parisphotography.zenfolio.com/arizonaDon Conrad - Paris Photography

Check out a few samples from a recent fitness photo shoot I did with model Ariel. The vibrant colors of this local track field provided the perfect compliments to her Nike attire.
Destination wedding results with newlyweds Tara & Tony. This couple added a touch of purple to their white dress and suit for a colorful addition to their wedding day attire. We complemented that color scheme with the soft and natural colors of the Arizona desert for their formal photos. Tara is friend I met over six years ago through model photography. Our work together has previously been featured in Maxim and FHM magazines. It was my honor to work with her and Tony as well as their families on this wedding.

A recent example of a post production editing makeover from a model portfolio shoot I had recently with one of my favorite models Ashley. The raw emotion of this original image suggested a more powerful image was needed in the final result and I visualized the vampire in this shot immediately upon initial review of the proofs. The first step was basic contrast and color correction followed by perfecting skin blemishes. Next, vampire teeth were added via the liquify tool in photoshop on a new layer using a layer mask to control the final shape. Color adjustments followed to give the image a rich, warm look and feel. My final touch was adding the wallpaper style pattern to the background to give it a rich, regal feel.

Big news! I have relocated to Portland, OR from Seattle, WA. I will continue to service the Seattle area just as I was always working here in Oregon in the past. I have a great new photography studio here in Portland and have been creating some amazing new work lately. I look forward to this new city and sharing my adventures here.

So normally I do not post testimonials as I think my work speaks more than words do, but this testimonial I recently received was different. Instead of the usual "I love the photos" or "You made me look amazing" letters, this spoke to how my work translated to her success in the real world of modeling. So I felt this one was worth sharing. Enjoy!

Don I just wanted to write you a note thanking you for not only being an amazing photographer but a genuine friend to me as well. Since I started modeling you have been one of the most influential people in terms of helping me accomplish everything that I have thus far. Your photographs are by far one of the best investments a model could ever make. They have helped me sign with an agency, helped casting directors notice me and helped to set my comp cards and book apart from other girls. Aside from the quality of your work I also appreciate your taking the time to coach me and help me to be a better model.
Bookers constantly tell me how clients appreciate how easy I am to work with and how they are able to get the shots they want in half the amount of time as other models. I have to give the credit to you on that one! I remember the first time I shot with you lol! Wow did I have a lot to learn. You were the first one to actually sit me down and give me advice on how to “model”, which angles worked for me, how to place my hands how to change up my looks to give subtle variety in every shot. There are plenty of modeling “schools” out there that I’m sure would have charged a fortune for the advice you were able to give me in the first 15 minutes of shooting. It’s far cheaper for a new model getting into the business to hire you and get the quality shots they need to book jobs, the advice and experience they need to get callbacks, and the exposure they need to get established in the industry.
On top of all of that you have always been there to offer advice and lend support which I am very grateful for. Thanks again for everything you have done for me, and I look forward to sharing future successes with you!
